That said, I was listening to a talk recently (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDdoUbCFn24) and at around 35:00 he cites this paper (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20876879/), which describes how the model of "emotional energy" that you seem to be describing is incorrect. The paper essentially says that people who believe that emotional energy is finite feel it as finite, and people who don't believe that don't get depleted like that.
What are your thoughts on this?
