A New Writing Phase
I’ve come across a few ideas lately that I think need to be written about before I think they’re ready to be written about.
For most of the things I’ve written so far, I’ve put a lot of thought into what I’m writing and how to write it, and the content I’ve created so far generally meets my standards for decent writing.
The next few things I write may be far more confusing and less thought-out than previous writings, so I want to give readers a warning of sorts.
The reason why I’m doing this is because I think it’s important to have these ideas out there now. The timeliness is required because
- I think more people should be introduced (even if it’s messy) to these ideas now rather than later because they’re particularly relevant or will soon be
- It helps establish credibility that I have indeed been thinking about these topics
- It provides a place where I can point people I’m talking with to my current thoughts.
As per usual, I don’t expect these writings to be static. As I learn and connect the dots and find better ways of explaining things, my plan is to come back and edit my writings to improve them.
So, consider this your warning. The ideas that follow may be confusing and not well-thought-through, but I do believe that they are important.
